Pastor Turnage

Pastor Turnage was appointed to Mt. Calvary UMC July 1, 2017.  Before this appointment, she served in various ministries and leadership roles at John Wesley UMC in Glen Burnie, MD. She brings to this position a love for God and God's people and a passion for teaching and preaching God's Word. She is well known by her peers and loved ones as a prayer warrior and servant of God.

Pastor Turnage was born and raised in Grenada, MS and comes from a Christian home where she was taught to pray at a very young age. As a child living in Mississippi, she marched with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and today is an activist for the advancement of all people.

Pastor Turnage is a former Service Support Manager for the Department of Defense at Ft. Meade, MD where she served for 37 years. She holds a Master of Divinity Degree (M.Div) from Howard University School of Divinity Class of 2014 with emphasis in Christian Education, Discipleship, Bible study, and Sunday school for all ages.

She is married to Mr. Raleigh Turnage, Jr.
